Methanol steam reforming in microreactor with constructal tree-shaped network

► We introduce constructal tree-shaped flow configuration into methanol steam microreactor. ► The model of methanol steam reaction is developed, numerically analyzed and verified. ► Larger surface-to-volume and smaller reactant velocity enhance reforming reaction. ► The methanol conversion rate is elevated 10% by constructal tree-shaped configuration.
