Synthesis of composite electrode materials of FeOOH-based particles/carbon powder and their high-rate charge-discharge performance in lithium cells

► Composite powder of FeOOH, α-Fe2O3, TiO2 and carbon were synthesized by liquid process. ► Composite powder worked as lithium insertion electrode materials of high capacity. ► Cycle performance was improved by the heat treatment of the composite materials.
