Electrocatalytic reduction of dioxygen on PdCu for polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cells

► We synthesized PdCu at low temperature and evaluated its activity toward ORR. ► The synthesis method produced spherical agglomerated particles of about 10 nm size. ► PdCu presents high electrocatalytic activity and performance as PEMFC cathode. ► Impedance provides information concerning kinetics and mechanism of ORR on PdCu.
