Building three-dimensional Pt catalysts on TiO2 nanorod arrays for effective ethanol electrooxidation

▶ The vertically TiO2 nanorod arrays are employed as 3D frame for Pt nanoparticles distributing. ▶ The Pt/TiO2/Ti electrocatalyst is used for the ethanol oxidation in acidic and alkaline media. ▶ The Pt/TiO2/Ti electrocatalyst displays better catalytic activity and higher stability.
