New high-throughput methods of investigating polymer electrolytes

▶ This reports a combinatorial approach to characterising ternary polymer electrolyte system including polymer, plasticiser and salt. ▶ Results are presented for structural and thermal characterisation as well as conductivity. ▶ For truly solid-like, mechanically stable films, the best conductivity obtained was 10−5 S cm−1.
