High discharge capacity solid composite polymer electrolyte lithium battery

▶ The solid composite polymer electrolyte (CPE) with good mechanical properties had been successfully prepared based on PAN, LiClO4 and the silica aerogel powder (SAP). ▶ The best ionic conductivity of CPEs was about 12.5 times higher than that without SAP. The room temperature discharge capacity of the coin cell fabricated with CPE-3 was about 120 mAh g−1. After 20 charge-discharge cycles the coin cell still retained almost 100% of the initial discharge capacity.
