Platinum(II) and palladium(II) complexes containing 1,3-dimethylcyanurate ligand

The platinum(II) ion has a distorted square-planar coordination arrangement with two cis triphenylphosphine ligands, a chloride ligand and a monodentate N-bonded 1,3-dimethylcyanurate ligand. The triazine ring, the two methyl groups and the three carbonyl groups are near planar from the mean plane of their attached triazine ring.
