Design, synthesis and antimycobacterial activity evaluation of natural oridonin derivatives

Four natural derived compounds (2k, 8d, 10c, 10d) containing trans-cinnamic acid moiety exhibited potent antimycobacterial activity against M. phlei at a concentration of 0.5 μg/mL, which was comparable to that of streptomycin (MIC = 0.5 μg/mL).
