Preparation, antibacterial evaluation and preliminary structure-activity relationship (SAR) study of benzothiazol- and benzoxazol-2-amine derivatives

A series of compounds with a benzothiazol- and benzooxazol-2-amine scaffold were synthesized and screened for antibacterial activity, among which compound 8t was the most potent with MIC value of 1 μg/mL against MRSA.
