Investigation of an F-18 oxytocin receptor selective ligand via PET imaging

The oxytocin system has been implicated as being a modulator of social behavior patterns. The synthesis and radiosynthesis of an oxytocin receptor selective PET ligand and its in vitro and in vivo evaluation are reported herein.
