Synthesis and biological evaluation of novel oxindole derivatives for imaging neurofibrillary tangles in Alzheimer's disease

We report the synthesis and biological evaluation of a novel series of radioiodinated oxindole derivatives for detecting neurofibirillary tangles in the brains of patients with Alzheimer's disease.
