SAR and evaluation of novel 5H-benzo[c][1,8]naphthyridin-6-one analogs as Aurora kinase inhibitors

The structure-based design, synthesis, and SAR of a novel series of Aurora kinase inhibitors based on the 5H-benzo[c][1,8]naphthyridin-6-one scaffold 1 are described.
