Encapsulation of Ellipticine in poly-(3-hydroxybutyrate-co-3-hydroxyvalerate) based nanoparticles and its in vitro application

► Biodegradable PHBV copolymers were produced by Bacillus cereus strains. ► Anticancer drug EPT was encapsulated within PHBV nanoparticles. ► MTT assay showed higher cytotoxic effect of EPT loaded PHBV nanoparticles. ► While, pure EPT itself not showed the potent cytotoxic effect in this study.
