Mechanical properties and microstructures of β Ti-25Nb-11Sn ternary alloy for biomedical applications

► <110> bcc texture is highly developed by swaging at a high reduction. ► The texture development decreases Young's modulus to 53 GPa. ► Aging at 673 K after swaging increases tensile strength over 1300 MPa. ► A large elastic recovery strain is obtained by aging.
