Non-isothermal crystallization kinetics of some glass-ceramics with pyroxene structure

► Glass-ceramics with pyroxene structure were prepared starting from basaltic rock. ► Differential thermal analysis was used to investigate the non-isothermal crystallization kinetics. ► The activation energies were calculated using isoconversional methods. ► The addition of 10% TiO2 and 2% ZrO2 upon the crystallization kinetics was investigated.
