Conductivity, thermal and infrared studies on plasticized polymer electrolytes with carbon nanotubes as filler

► Novel nanocomposites polymer electrolytes were prepared by using solution casting technique. ► Amorphous carbon nanotubes (αCNTs) were added into plasticized polymer electrolytes. ► Improved the interaction and cross-linking between αCNTs and PEO molecules. ► αCNTs reduce crystallinity of polymer electrolytes system. ► Effect in conductivity of polymer electrolyte.
