Glass forming region in the GeSe2-GeTe-PbTe system and some physicochemical properties of glassy alloys

► New chalcogenide alloys from the GeSe2-GeTe-PbTe system are synthesized for the first time. ► The region of glass formation is outlined. ► The density and microhardness of some glasses are measured. ► The compactness and elasticity modulus values of some glassy phases are evaluated.
