Synthesis of mesoporous Bi2O3/CeO2 microsphere for photocatalytic degradation of Orange II dye

- Bi2O3/CeO2 microspheres were successfully synthesized by a hydrothermal procedure.
- Bi2O3/CeO2 microspheres were used to remove wastewater pollutant containing azo dye.
- The activity of Bi2O3/CeO2 is synergically enhanced compared to its pristine forms.
