Microwave-assisted synthesis: A fast and efficient route to produce LaMO3 (MÂ =Â Al, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co) perovskite materials

▶ Lanthanum perovskites can be prepared by microwave irradiation in a domestic set-up. ▶ Microwave-assisted synthesis yields well crystallized and pure materials, sometimes nanosized. ▶ Rietveld analysis has been performed to refine the structures. ▶ Magnetic and electric measurements are similar to those previously reported. ▶ Microwave-assisted synthesis is a fast and efficient method for the synthesis of lanthanum perovskites.
