چکیده انگلیسی
Electrode injected charge carrier mobility in a-DBAB-type block copolymer thin film has been found 2-3 orders of magnitudes better then in a corresponding D/A simple blend film, where D is a p-type conjugated and rigid semiconducting polymer segment, A is a n-type conjugated and rigid semiconducting polymer segment, and B is a non-conjugated and flexible chain. Since the charge carrier injection density and total injected charge carriers are the same, the dramatic enhancement of carrier mobility is therefore attributed mainly to a smoother carrier transport pathway which is the result of the block copolymer thin film donor/acceptor phase separated and bi-continuous morphology. Such morphological differences are also evidenced from preliminary electron microscopic images. The-DBAB-type of block copolymer is therefore very promising for developing high efficient plastic electrical and opto-electronic devices where carrier mobility is critical.
