An enhancement on Shi et al.'s multiparty quantum secret sharing protocol

►This paper presents an idea to improve the quantum bit efficiency of Shi et al.'s quantum secret sharing (QSS) protocol. ►The dealer in the proposed QSS scheme is not required to maintain a quantum memory to keep photons in hands. ►In the proposed scheme, since the dealer does not need to retain any photons, none of the photons possessed by the agents can collude to reveal the dealer's secret.
