UV solar radiation on a tilted and horizontal plane: Analysis and comparison of 4Â years of measurements

► In this work, we compare solar UV radiation performed on tilted and horizontal plane. ► The analysis was done with 4 years of measurements, obtained at the PSA. ► Daily, monthly and annual tendencies were identified and compared with solar global. ► An empirical correlation for UV radiation on a tilted plane was determined. ► Proper monthly tilt angle can increase solar UV radiation on the plane up to 40%.
