Dynamic behaviour of 304 stainless steel during high Z deformation

▶ Flow curves strain rate insensitive at high strain rates/low temperatures. ▶ Flow curves display 'flat-top' character at high Z values. ▶ Some level of dynamic recrystallization (DRX) occurs even at high Z values. ▶ Critical parameters for DRX modelled over wide range of deformation conditions. ▶ Texture for a given strain is strain rate insensitive.
