Performance study of a box-type solar cooker employing an asymmetric compound parabolic concentrator

▸ A new box-type solar cooker equipped with an asymmetric (CPC) was designed, constructed and tested. ▸ The cooker remains in stationary position during its functioning. ▸ Simulation study was conducted for predicting its thermal behavior. ▸ The cooker performance has been rated by using first and second figure of merit.
