Mathematical modeling of sloped solar chimney power plants

▸ The solar collector, chimney and turbine are modeled together theoretically. ▸ Results show that using A1/A2 ≈ 1 will create a strong wind which might cause some problems. ▸ It was shown that the assumption of (ρ3 − ρ4) = (ρ1 − ρ2) leads to a large overprediction of the results.
