Long term biological developments in water Cherenkov detector media

► A very weak bacterial influence on the duration of Cherenkov detector media predicted. ► Prediction confirmed at an early time of the present research and also after 11 years. ► Allows us being confident in the long term behavior of 1600 Pierre Auger detectors. ► Furthermore, able to give a value for the expected lifetime of the radiator media.
