Amorphization and disorder of PrFeO3 thin films after heavy ion irradiation

► PrFeO3 thin films were grow by Pulse Laser Deposition on LaAlO3 substrate. ► These films are having Orthorhombic structure (Space group Pbnm) with (001) orientation. ► These films were irradiated with Ag15+ ion having 200 MeV with different fluences. ► Different properties studied are fluence dependent. ► Strain and disorder are considered the main reason for the observed behavior.
