Awareness, knowledge and beliefs about HPV, cervical cancer and HPV vaccines among nurses in Cameroon: An exploratory study

► We conducted structured survey on nurses' own level of knowledge with regard to HPV, cervical cancer and the HPV vaccine. ► Nurses showed a critical dynamic on factors that influence their willingness to recommend vaccination to patients. ► More education about HPV, cervical cancer and HPV vaccine is required to increase nurses' willingness to recommend vaccine.
