Sethoxydim treatment inhibits lipid metabolism and enhances the accumulation of anthocyanins in rape (Brassica napus L.) leaves

- We report the effect of sethoxydim treatment in rape leaves.
- The lipid metabolism is decreased by malonyl-CoA deficiency.
- The flavonoid metabolism is stimulated with anthocyanins accumulation.
- The flux of carbon seems to be oriented towards protective mechanisms.
