Satisfaction et attentes des prescripteurs vis-Ã -vis de l'analyse pharmaceutique des prescriptions sur deux unités de médecines internes

Four out of six physicians were not satisfied with the organization of the pharmaceutical validation of medication orders in place. The physicians (5 out of 6) appreciated pharmacists' interventions and 6 out of 7 physicians were in favour of a ward-based pharmacist. However, the mode of communication of the pharmacists' interventions did not suit the prescribers. The original pharmacists' activities (medication orders analysis, management of medication with the nurse team) were well accepted and admitted by the physicians, whereas the physicians were still reluctant to delegate clinical pharmacy activities like therapeutic patient education, drug monitoring or biologic surveillance.
