Development of a sensitive enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the detection of fumonisin B1 in maize

► A novel anti-fumonisin B1 monoclonal antibody was produced using different immunogens. ► A rapid and sensitive icELISA was developed for the detection of fumonisin B1 in maize. ► The icELISA was preliminary validated by the LC-MS/MS method.
