Osteogenic differentiation of GFP-labeled human umbilical cord blood derived mesenchymal stem cells after cryopreservation

► Human UCB-MSCs are transfected with green fluorescent protein (GFP) gene. ► The pre-labeled cells are routinely cryopreserved and thawed. ► Cryopreserved human UCB-MSCs can retain the GFP label when thawed. ► Cell phenotype and osteogenic potential are not affected by cryopreservation.
