Multiplex immune-related genes expression analysis response to bacterial challenge in mud crab, Scylla paramamosain

► We analyzed eight immune-related genes with a method of multi-gene expression. ► Live bacteria were more effective in motivating expressions of immune factors. ► C-type lectin was a quite susceptive immune factor responding to external pathogen. ► In heat-killed group, HSP70 was a sensitively inductive factor to foreign stimulus. ► The expression of prophenoloxidase activating factor preceded prophenoloxidase.
