Optimal error correction of the absolute value equation using a genetic algorithm

In this paper we have studied the optimum correction of the absolute value equation through making minimal changes in the coefficient matrix and the right-hand side using the l2l2 norm. Solving this problem is equal to solving a nonconvex and fractional quadratic problem. To solve this problem, we use a genetic algorithm. Our computational results show that this method is efficient, with high accuracy.
