Extension of runs to the continuous-valued sequences

In this note, new run definitions which we call ɛɛ-neighbourhood   and ɛɛ-increasing runs are introduced. These definitions are the rational extension of runs to the continuous-valued sequences. Distributional properties of the introduced run statistics are studied.
