Study of the interaction between bovine serum albumin and analogs of Biphenyldicarboxylate by spectrofluorimetry

► BSA fluorescence can be quenched by DDB or analogs via hydrophobic contacts. ► DDB binds to BSA with the highest affinity among four compounds. ► DDB is the strongest quencher among four compounds. ► The influence of molecular structure on the binding aspects is reported.
