Synthesis and conformational studies of newly synthesized cis-2r,6c-distyryltetrahydro thiopyran-4-one and its oxime: Comparison of experimental and theoretical NMR spectral data

► cis-2r,6c-Distyryltetrahydro thiopyran-4-one and its oxime have been synthesized. ► Synthesis compounds have been characterized by using 1H, 13C and 2D NMR spectra. ► Theoretical 1H and 13C have been calculated using DFT. ► Theoretical 1H and 13C NMR has been compared with observed 1H and 13C NMR spectra.
