Multi-spectroscopic method study the interaction of anti-inflammatory drug ketoprofen and calf thymus DNA and its analytical application

► The binding characteristics and molecular mechanism of the interaction between the anti-inflammatory drug ketoprofen and ctDNA via multi-spectroscopic method were studied. ► Ketoprofen can bind to nucleic acids effectively and form large particles by virtue of groove binding. ► A new, high sensitivity, simplicity and practical method for determination trace amount of DNA have been developed.
