Metal-organic coordination architectures of condensed heterocyclic based 1,2,4-triazole: Syntheses, structures and emission properties

Seven new d10 metal (Zn and Cd) and transition metal (Cu and Co) metal-organic coordination complexes of condensed heterocyclic 1,2,4-triazole based ligands were synthesized and structurally characterized. All the complexes are air stable at room temperature. Ligands L1, L2 and L4 and their corresponding ZnII/CdII complexes exhibit strong luminescent emission in the solid state at room temperature.
