Synthesis, characterization and bioactivity of a new Fe(III) 18-metallacrown-6 and a new trinuclear linear Ni(II) complexes

The chelating modes of these types of ligands to metal ions are the same. When we use bivalent nickel salt, we get a linear trinuclear complex; when we use trivalent iron salt, we get a new 18-metallacrown-6 compound.
