Synthesis and antitumor activity of ATB-429 derivatives containing a nitric oxide-releasing moiety

A series of novel ATB-429 derivatives containing a nitric oxide (NO)-releasing moiety were synthesized. Phenylsulfonylfuroxan-based derivatives 7-9 display better activity against some tumor cell lines than Vandetanib.
