Synthesis and antiproliferative activity of unnatural enantiomers of 7-epi-goniofufurone and crassalactone C

The unnatural styryl lactones (−)-7-epi-goniofufurone (ent-1) and (−)-crassalactone C (ent-2) have been synthesized and evaluated for their in vitro antitumour activities against a number of human neoplastic cell lines.
