Investigation of the mechanism of action of 3-(4-bromophenyl)-5-acyloxymethyl-2,5-dihydrofuran-2-one against Candida albicans by flow cytometry

Preliminary investigations on the mechanism of action of 3-(4-bromophenyl)-5-acyloxymethyl-2,5-dihydrofuran-2-one against Candida albicans by flow cytometry, using PI, DiBAC4 (3), and FUN-1, and determination of the kinetics of growth inhibition are reported.
