• TiO2 loaded polyaniline matrix is used for photovoltaic application.
• The increase in power conversation efficiency originated from high absorption on visible region.
• Fabricated photovoltaic cells generated stable photocurrent and photovoltage.

Chemically engineered nano titanium oxide (TiO2) loaded polyaniline matrix of architecture ITO/ titanium oxide-polyaniline/Aluminum is used for photovoltaic application. The performance of fabricated photovoltaic cell shows good dependence on concentration of TiO2. The power conversion efficiency increases with an increasing concentration of TiO2. The increase in power conversation efficiency originated from high absorption on visible region. The fabricated photovoltaic cells generated stable photocurrent and photovoltage under light illumination.
