N-Aminorhodanine as an effective corrosion inhibitor for mild steel in 0.5Â M H2SO4

► N-Aminorhodanine (N-AR) is used as a corrosion inhibitor for mild steel in 0.5 M H2SO4. ► N-AR acts as a good inhibitor for mild steel corrosion. ► The high inhibition efficiency is attributed to the adsorption of N-AR on the mild steel surface. ► The adsorption of N-AR on the mild steel surface obeys Langmuir adsorption isotherm.
