چکیده انگلیسی

The corrosion rate of alloy C-22 in the NaCl solution at room temperature is determined by two methods: by the anodic current density in the potential range of alloy passivity and by the analysis of anodic and cathodic voltammograms measured in the vicinity of corrosion potential. The specific features of passive current determination are considered and the difference between the corrosion currents determined by two methods is explained.


► Alloy corrosion rate is determined by the analysis of polarization curves near corrosion potential.
► Corrosion rates obtained from polarization curves and by passive currents are compared.
► The features of measuring the passive currents on alloy C22 in NaCl are revealed.
