Observation of corrosion behavior of stainless steels in a salt manufacturing plant environment using the multichannel electrode method

► Crevice corrosion behavior of various stainless steels under saltery environment was investigated. ► Multichannel electrode methode which we developed was used for this investigation. ► Distribution of coupling current between multi-pieces of sample was measured. ► Corrosion behavior was investigated in various temperature and concentration of DO. ► SUS316L showed quite different corrosion behavior comparing to NAS64, NAS185N, NAS254N.
