Electrical properties and scaling behaviour of rare earth based Ho2CoZrO6 double perovskite ceramics

► The conduction mechanism in HCZ may be due to hopping of small polaron. ► The material shows semiconducting behaviour. ► Conductivity obeys Jonscher's power law with high frequency dispersion. ► Both long-range and localized relaxation are present.
