Investigation of the laser and optical properties of Nd3+:Ba(Zr, Mg, Ta)O3 ceramic, Nd3+(Na+):Ca2MgSi2O7 single crystal, and Yb3+:Lu3Al5O12 ceramic

► We optimized the manufacturing process and laser configuration of Nd3+:(Ba, Zr, Mg, Ta)O3 ceramic laser. ► An anomalous behavior due to phase transition was observed in the Nd3+(Na+):Ca2MgSi2O7 laser. ► We demonstrated highly efficient Yb3+:LuAG ceramics laser.
