Towards the development of heat-treatable high-strength wrought Mg alloys

The potential to develop high-strength low-cost wrought Mg alloys through precipitation hardening is discussed with specific references to our recent studies on microalloyed Mg–Zn and Mg–Sn based extruded alloys.
